Welcome to EMEA2024: Workshop on Ion Exchange Membranes for Energy Applications
June 16th - 18th, 2024 in Bad Zwischenahn/Germany
At a great and fully booked workshop last year, 80 participants from 15 nations had the opportunity to experience many interesting talks and poster presentations. Now we are delighted to announce EMEA2024.
Material developments and ion exchange membrane-based systems for energy applications will be discussed by representatives from research and industry with the focus set on anion exchange membranes. In addition to invited and contributed talks a poster exhibition offers scientists and especially young researchers and students the opportunity to present their work. A price for the best poster will be awarded. An opening presentation followed by a Get-together and the conference dinner will provide additional opportunities for lively scientific exchange in a familiar atmosphere.
Also this year, the EMEA organisation team was able to attract top-class speakers from the field of alkaline ion exchange membranes for energy applications.

We are pleased to inform you that directly preceding the EMEA workshop, with HiPEM-TECH another high-profile event will take place from June 12th - 14th, 2024. As in 2022, DLR and KIST are involved in the organisation. HiPEM-TECH is the workshop about the technology of high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cells and brings together representatives from research and industry to present and discuss recent advancements in materials up to applications. The synchronised schedule of HiPEM-TECH and EMEA allows you to attend both workshops. This is an excellent opportunity for you to benefit from the content and discussions as well as the thematic focus and networking opportunities of these events.
